Seville, Spain

First stop Seville in Spain for a few days, on our summer holiday.

Seville, Spain

Second stop was for a quick beer in the streets near our apartment.

Seville is the vibrant capital of southern Spain’s Andalusia region, famous for the Real Alcázar de Sevilla, the massive Seville Cathedral, and the grand Plaza de España.

We visited the cathedral in Seville and made up the tower too.

Setas de Sevilla (“Mushrooms of Seville”) or Las Setas (“The Mushrooms”), initially titled Metropol Parasol, is a large, predominantly wood structure located at La Encarnación square in the old quarter of Seville, Spain.

Initially beset with technical problems as well as budget and schedule overruns, the parasols are constructed of 3,500 cubic meters of micro-laminated Finnish pine and are marketed as the world’s largest wooden structure.
